The Body Control Pilates Method is based on the work of Joseph Pilates, who created a series of exercises that built strength without adding bulk and balanced that strength with flexibility.

The Classical Pilates exercises that he developed take practice and skill to perform, and may well be beyond the capability of the average person. The Body Control Method breaks these exercises down into more manageable chunks, so that clients can enjoy the benefits of Pilates whilst working safely and effectively as they move towards the more advanced exercises. In this way, I can work with first time exercisers or those needing rehabilitation after an injury or operation, as well as challenge the skills and stamina of elite athletes – Body Control Pilates exercises are part of the training regime of many professional athletes.

Group matwork classes are held at various times, morning and evenings.
All equipment is provided. Comfortable exercise clothing and socks or bare feet are all that is required. Class sizes are limited to 10.

Individual bespoke tuition is tailored precisely to my Clients needs to help achieve their goals.

An enrolment form must be completed by all clients before tuition.
